This former industrial neighborhood has reinvented itself as a trendy tourist destination and has become a must-visit for street art enthusiasts and alternative nightlife seekers.

The revival of the Soho district began in 2011 with the “MAUS” project (Malaga Urban Art in Soho), an initiative aimed at revitalizing the area through street art. Since then, Soho has become an open-air museum, with every corner adorned with stunning murals and contemporary artworks. Local and international artists have left their mark on building facades, creating a unique and colorful atmosphere that attracts visitors from all over the world.

Each mural tells a story, reflects an emotion, or expresses an idea, turning the neighborhood into a true artistic treasure. From abstract paintings and realistic portraits to abstract art and cutting-edge street art, there’s something for every taste. In addition to murals, Soho also hosts numerous art galleries, artist studios, and cultural spaces where exhibitions and artistic events are held.
